Management process of the Special Equalisation Scheme, pursuant to Section 63 No. 1 in conjunction with Section 64 EEG
The amendment of the Act on Combined Heat and Power Generation (KWKG), which came into effect on 1 January 2017, incorporates parts of the privilege regulation of the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG), pursuant to Section 63 No. 1 in conjunction with Section 64 EEG. Thus, for companies, which have to pay a limited KWKG levy in accordance to the Special Equalisation Scheme (BeSAR), the TransnetBW GmbH in capacity as the Transmission System Operator (TSO) takes responsibility in the administration of the KWKG levy.
In case your company falls within the provisions of the BesAR and is obligated to pay contribution in accordance to the KWKG levy, the following pages will provide important information and a registration for the EEG-Portal.
